The Story

A Base and B Base are the replaceable bases for the NOMAD tracker designed by MrRat.com

Base Options & Specs:

Option 1: Base A (Vixen Dovetail Plate Base)

Dimensions: 43.1 × 37.8 × 16.4 mm
Option 2: Base B (Tall Arca-Swiss Plate with 1/4"-20 Hole)

Dimensions: 37.8 × 37.8 × 21.4 mm
Option 3: Base C (Arca-Swiss Plate with Stop Screw)

Dimensions: 37.8 × 37.8 × 9.5 mm

Inspired by Richard, the included stop screw prevents the NOMAD tracker from sliding through when mounted, adding extra security against accidental falls.

Note: All measurements are taken manually and may have a slight error of ±0.5mm.

How to change the NOMAD to a Vixen dovetail plate base or Tall Arca-swiss plate base?

Use the wrench (a black wrench will be included) to screw out the original base of NOMAD

Screw out the plate and keep the small screws well

Take the Vixen base or tall arca base and match it to two screw holes on the NOMAD bottom, screw the screws back into the base

Done
